2017 Summer Public Counsel CARES

Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, Public Counsel’s Connecting Angelenos to Resources and Essential Services (CARES) advocacy project is accepting volunteers for its 2017 summer program.  CARES brings volunteers together with poor and homeless individuals to help them access resources to meet their basic needs and to protect their legal rights.  With the number of people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles continuing to increase, reaching over 47,000 countywide last year, programs such as CARES are even more critical.

For those of you who received an invitation to participate in our summer program, you can use this page to pay your registration fee.  Once received, we will confirm your dates per our initial invitation.  If you did not receive a letter inviting your organization to participate, you still may be able to provide your summer associates an opportunity to get involved in the summer CARES program by contacting Jack Meaney (jmeaney@publiccounsel.org) for further information.

Thank you for your support of CARES and for being part of the solution to address homelessness in Los Angeles!  We are looking forward to working with you this summer.
